Gifted to the City of Winona, these illuminated stained glass windows at Levee Park celebrate the Mississippi River landscape through layered imagery and light. The installation marks the transition between city and nature with contemporary artistry and durable craftsmanship.
Designed as a threshold experience, the windows shift imagery depending on direction—river life greeting visitors entering the park, and land-based flora and fauna accompanying their return to the city. Illuminated and protected for longevity, the installation weaves community, environment, and artisan craftsmanship into a lasting public artwork.
